Overview
As the CARTS program鈥檚 focus is on the 鈥渉ands-on鈥 creation of artworks, students who are enrolled in our courses have extended access to the studios to do their creative work outside of class meeting times. There are no lab or materials fees for use of these facilities for enrolled students.
All our visual arts students have the opportunity to display their works in the annual student show in the Founders Gallery. Students enrolled in Music Ensemble or CARTS music-related courses can also sign up to use university-owned instruments, including pianos, strings, winds, percussion and electronics, and have the opportunity to perform each semester in the Soka Performing Arts Center and Black Box Theatre.
