My interdisciplinary research focuses on the historical evolution of policies and technologies in the areas of energy, environmental protection, and disaster management. My current research examines the policy evolution of renewable energy as a pathway to mitigate both air pollution and global climate change. I am pursuing this research in support of an edited paper series titled the Soka Institute for Global Solutions Occasional Papers, an open-access publication endeavor by SUA that is designed to expand the reach of academic knowledge in the global community.
